Our Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI were second best against Geelong 2nd XI at Schramms Reserve - Oval #1.
In terms of totals, it was Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI 10/214 and Geelong 2nd XI 7/220. Brodie Richardson passed fifty on the way to 74 off 139 balls with eight fours. Aryan Sharma brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 53 off 184 balls. Credit to Oliver Haberfield, who took three for 34 for our opponents.
Kepler Lukies was the pick of our bowlers with three for 52. Santhosh Ramireddy made a good 69 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Ryan Aikman helped our opponents with 41.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
