Our Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI were on song as they got past Northcote 2nd XI to make it four wins in a row.
We ended on 6/144 and Northcote 2nd XI on 6/140. Credit to Michael Jephcott, who made a half-century (54) for the visitors. Liam Myott picked up two for 33 off three overs.
A classy 63 not out off 43 balls from Mark Phelan was the highlight. Zachary Macciocca chipped in with 20. For our opponents, Adam Howard took three for 19 off four overs.
A well-deserved win for the team.
Onwards and upwards.
