In Kookaburra Men's Premier action, our Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI lost out to St Kilda 2nd XI in a disappointing result.
We made 10/174, while St Kilda 2nd XI made 9/222. Fifty for Cooper Rojko, who made 68 for the hosts. Credit to Ashish Ashish, who made a half-century (64) for our opponents. Brodie Richardson was the pick of our bowlers with three for 26. Gurnaz Khatra added three for 42.
Leading the way was Mark Phelan with 47 off 86 balls. Matthew Bremner provided good support with 31.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Chins up, everyone.
