Our Fitzroy Doncaster 3rd XI were on song as they got the better of Dandenong 3rd XI in a classy team performance.
We ended on 4/258 and Dandenong 3rd XI on 10/160. Syed Shayan Ahmad made a superb 86 off 79 balls, a well-made fifty. James Heaney's 72 not out off 73 balls was a half-century to remember. Harrison Sheers added a useful 41 off 62 balls.
Redwan Laghmani led the way for our opponents with 32 off 43 balls. With the ball, Jamie Selvaraj did the damage, claiming three for 31 off 7.4 overs.
Big runs from our top order made the difference.
Well done to everyone involved.
