On Saturday, our Fitzroy Doncaster 4th XI lost to Northcote 4th XI in a tough outing.
Northcote 4th XI finished on 5/139, and we finished on 8/136. Parvan Singh made a stylish 62 not out for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Nicholas Sheridan was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 38 off four overs.
Neel Malangi top-scored with 38 off 25 balls. Billy Rayner contributed 23 off 30 balls. Caedon Lane bowled well for our opponents, taking three for 22.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
