It was a good day out for our Fitzroy Doncaster 3rd XI, who took the honours against Camberwell Magpies 3rd XI by six wickets.
We kept Camberwell Magpies 3rd XI to 6/127 from 20 overs. Credit to Jack Di Stefano, who made 32 for our opponents. Lachlan Rees returned figures of two for 17 off three overs.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 4/128 in 18.1 overs. A classy 57 not out off 42 balls from Liam Russell was the highlight. Benjamin Donnellan remained unbeaten with 22 off 22 balls.
A terrific result for the team. It's five wins on the bounce.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Fitzroy Doncaster.
