Our Fitzroy Doncaster 1st XI had to settle for a loss as they went down against Camberwell Magpies 1st XI on Saturday in Kookaburra Men's Premier.

First up, we made 3/49 from 5.4 overs. Matthew Spoors led the way with 29 off 12 balls with one four and three sixes.

Camberwell Magpies 1st XI reached the target at 5/53 in 4.4 overs. With the ball, Nicholas Fletcher did the damage, claiming three for 5 off one over.

There were some stylish individual efforts to build on.

Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
