There was plenty to celebrate as our Fitzroy Doncaster 3rd XI came away winners against Footscray 3rd XI at Schramms Reserve - Oval #2 in Kookaburra Men's Premier.

First up, Footscray 3rd XI made 10/131 from 39.1 overs. Daksh Kumar was the top scorer for the visitors with 34. The wickets were shared around, with Angus Roach taking three for 24.

In reply, the team reached the target at 1/132 in 25 overs. Roach brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 78 not out off 77 balls.

It was a superb all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. We've now won eight in a row.
