The scorecard reads Fitzroy Doncaster 4th XI 10/146 and 1/103, Melbourne 4th XI 9/301. Manav Sharma's 68 not out off 30 balls was a half-century to remember. Sandeep Ahuja chipped in with 33. The visitors' Fletcher Good was the standout with the ball, taking six for 47.
Xavier Mitchell picked up two for 42 off eleven overs. Jamie Blacker finished with two for 62. Credit to Hayden Kenny, who made a half-century (97) for our opponents.
There were some fine individual efforts to build on.
