It was smiles all round as our Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI defeated Geelong 2nd XI.
Our totals were 5/218, against Geelong 2nd XI's 10/214. A classy 55 off 164 balls from Angus Roach was the highlight. Mark Phelan brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 55 not out off 126 balls. Aryan Sharma contributed 46 off 147 balls. Nathan Harper bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 68.
Kobe Smith picked up four for 49 off 19.5 overs. Harry Smith claimed two for 31 as well. Josh Collins held our opponents' innings together with 47.
Big runs from our top order made the difference.
That makes up for our loss to the visitors earlier in the season. That makes it two wins in a row. Well played, all.
